<p> Computer Class Rules and Agreement</p><p>Welcome to Ms. Martine’s computer class. We will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:15 p.m. In this class you learn to make word documents, play some fun games that will help you work on math, science, and reading skills. We will also spend some time doing some research on the internet on topics we discuss through out the year! Make sure you follow all the rules I have listed in this Agreement, because the internet can be fun but we have to make sure we stay safe while using it. I hope you all have fun this year, and that you learn a lot about computers and all the different technology we can use to make learning fun! </p><p>Classroom Rules: </p><p>1) Stay quiet while in the lab, unless you are asking a question 2) Do not work with a partner unless assigned by the teacher. 3) Do not open any files or websites with out permission from the teacher first. 4) Stay seated at all times </p><p>Rules for Work:</p><p>1) Make sure you SAVE all your work. Get into a habit of saving your work frequently while you are working on it. If you do not save your work you will not have anything to hand in, and I will not be able to get to it. 2) Always ask questions if you have them! 3) Simple is better! I know there is a hundred different things you can put into your documents but try to keep it to a minimum. 4) When we learn how to make documents, always look for different ways you can present your work! 5) On many activities there will be an HELP button on your tool bar. Use that as much as you need, and store examples and templates so you can use them to produce great work!</p><p>Internet Use: </p><p>1) Do not use any websites I have not approved, and if you have any questions about a website ASK! 2) NEVER get off track from our internet assignments, and explore the internet! 3) All websites we use I have researched and have been approved through evaluation guidelines. 4) If research is done at home on a topic, have a parent help you!
