Language objective (connected to ELPS, but in student friendly language): use prior knowledge and experiences to understand meanings in English. Show the children the video " Animal Features and their Functions " on Discovery Streaming Discuss information.  EXPLAIN: Explain to the children all the different type of coverings animals have, fur, feather, shell, scales, Create a picture web with pictures of animals with these coverings. Have children create a foldable.
