<p> CITATION ARCHDEACON’S VISITATION 2017</p><p>To the Beneficed and Licensed Clergy, Churchwardens and Chapelwardens of the Archdeaconry of Bath</p><p>Please pass this Visitation information to new Churchwardens when appointed</p><p>You are warmly invited to attend my Visitation to your deanery. </p><p>Bishop Peter wishes to point out that this is a mandatory requirement for all churchwardens and licensed clergy.</p><p>Readers and other licensed ministers are also very welcome to attend so please would the Clergy and Churchwardens ensure that they receive an invitation</p><p>My Articles of Enquiry are enclosed with this Citation. Churchwardens and Chapelwardens are asked to send their responses to my office as soon as possible, and by 31 st March 2017 at the latest. If a Churchwarden is unable to attend any of the above services, please contact me.</p><p>ORDER OF PROCEEDINGS 5.30 to 6.50pm On arrival, Clergy and Churchwardens are asked to report to their Rural Dean and (Light Lay Chair. Churchwardens will be asked to sign their Forms of Declaration, which refreshments will they should bring with them. The Archdeacon will be available to see be served) Churchwardens. </p><p>7pm The Visitation service at which Churchwardens will make their declaration and be admitted into office. During the service the Archdeacon will give his Charge.</p><p>8.00pm onwards The Archdeacon will be available to see Churchwardens after the service for short meetings.</p>
