L. Husar. Therefore, in order to separate from the heretical and apostatical branch, we, the undersigned Bishops of the Ukrainian orthodox Greek-Catholic Church, have established a renewed branch of the Order of St. Basil the Great under the name of “The Order of St. Basil the Great – reformed”, abbreviated to OSBMr. On 14th January 2010, on the feast of St. Basil the Great, we, the below-named bishops of the UOGCC, took our perpetual vows in this reformed branch: + Markian V. Hitiuk OSBMr + Samuel R. Oberhauser OSBMr + Metoděj R. Špiřík OSBMr + Timotej P. Sojka OSBMr + Bazil P. Kolodi OSBMr + Eliáš A. Dohnal OSBMr We emphasize that to the third vow we added a fourth one – to defend the nature of the papacy on the pattern of St. Basil the Great, i.e. to help You in the fight for the purity of faith and morals against contemporary heresies, in the fight for the renewal of the Church. We fully consider ourselves to be, not formally only but de facto, a religious order of pontifical right.
