No 0207465</p><p>Problem When transcribing a dictation for multiple exams, if blank lines are entered into an otherwise empty (i.e. deliberately unreported) section of the report, this can cause errors by removing the ‘reported by’ details.</p><p>This is more likely to occur when there are two or more CRIS sessions running on one PC.</p><p>Resolution Corrected in CRIS 1.06.12k Workaround Where possible, users should not have multiple CRIS sessions open when reporting. However, if this cannot be avoided, there should be no blank lines in deliberately unreported sections of the report. Only text should be entered against the required sections of the report in line with the following:</p><p>CORRECT PROCEDURES FOR TYPING CLINICAL REPORTS</p><p>CLINICAL HISTORY - Reports can be typed with or without Clinical History, but if this is required it should be typed in the top section of the report. </p><p>INDIVIDUAL EXAM REPORTS - Individual reports for each examination should be typed under each appropriate examination section. You should however be advised that the examination description displayed in blue at the top of each section does not appear on the printed report, and consequently headers should be added to the report using [Alt+1] for the first examination, [Alt+2] for the second etc.</p><p>SUMMARY / COMBINED REPORTS - If a Summary/ Combined Report is required the complete report, including any clinical history should only be typed in the top section.</p><p>INCORRECT PRACTICE – Users should not type Summary/Combined Reports under an individual examination section, as this can have an adverse effect on the transmission of radiology results, and the collection of accurate reporting totals via the CRIS Statistics package.
