<p> 1Prince of Peace D-Tour Commitment Form Prince of Peace Lutheran Church invests in the lives of young people in many ways. Immersion experiences, like the D- Tour, offer opportunities for students and adults to grow in faith and friendships through times of service, worship, and play. As a true partnership with the congregation, students and parents are encouraged to pray about participation in this opportunity. After you’ve done so, please read the rest of the commitments on this page and return it to Mary Ellen Helms.</p><p>Because the community of Prince of Peace is supporting us spiritually and financially, we will try our best to do the following in order to grow in that relationship with Christ and each other:</p><p> a. Come to worship regularly</p><p> b. Attend the preparation meetings</p><p> c. Participate in the fundraisers</p><p> d. Work to grow in your relationship with God and with the participants of the trip through the participation in youth ministry opportunities at Prince of Peace.</p><p>Because we truly appreciate the help our congregation gives us through fundraisers, we will try our hardest to help with these. We can help through planning, set-up, clean up, or other preparations. If you cannot help with the fundraiser at all, you will not benefit from that particular fundraiser.</p><p>In the event that we cannot make a mandatory meeting or fundraiser, we will contact Mary Ellen Helms by email or in writing.</p><p>We will bring this experience home by organizing a Thank You program for the congregation. We will share our memories, pictures and experiences.</p><p>Cancellation Policy: If your student is unable to attend, you must submit in writing by March 15, 2017. After this date, you will be responsible for any non-refundable payments we make to outside groups.
