<p>EXPORT ASSETS FROM PREPARE MASS ADDITION AND VERIFY THEM BEFORE CAPITALISING</p><p>1. Go to xxx Assets Responsibility</p><p>2. Click on Mass Additions-Prepare Mass Addition</p><p>In Queue, select NEW (NEW status represents those assets which have not been capitalised so far) Click on Find</p><p>The following screen will appear</p><p>Click on File-Export</p><p>The exported list will provide you a list of all the assets pending capitalisation since Go Live. IIMR Exported list.xlsx</p><p>The first period open in the system is APR-14.</p><p>In Oracle Fixed Assets,first we need to capitalise assets pending in APR-14 and so on.</p><p>In the list, institute first needs to sort whether the asset lines are correct or not.</p><p>In case few lines are found which are not assets, they can be deleted.</p><p>In case there are assets which are not present in the system, we need to capitalize manually.</p><p>Once the Capitalization is complete for the month of APR-14, institute needs to run depreciation and close that period. After this May-14 will open.</p><p>NOTE: Period once closed can never be reopened so we need to make sure that all the assets pertaining to that period are capitalized and then only we close them. </p>
