The effort in this project is focused on providing detailed models of a PPD jammer antenna located in several locations on several vehicle platforms and the PGS antenna radiation pattern located on a Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft. The three-dimensional (3D) radiation patters for the on-vehicle PPD antenna and the on-aircraft GPS antenna will be developed utilizing a commercial-off-the-shelf software package to solve 3D full-wave electromagnetic fields based on the method of moments. This technique is useful for large structures such as automobiles and airplanes. The on-vehicle Version 1.2 Template 07-10-00 radiation patterns for the PPD antenna will be validated at Oakland University’s Automotive Antenna Range which is cable of computing the radiation patterns for on-vehicle antennas in the upper hemisphere (i.e. 0-90 degrees in elevation angle and 0-360 degrees in azimuth angle). In addition, Oakland University plans to become a participatory member in the RFI working Group Telecons.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (OPTIONS-TIME AND DOLLARS, IMPORTANCE/SIGNIFICANCE): l

NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF THE CONTRACTING OFFICER:

NAME AND PHONE NUMBER OF THE GRANTS OFFICER: Nicole Saiauskie, 609-485-4781

ROUTING SYMBOL OF THE REQUISITIONING ORGANIZATION: AJP-652

Note: If a Grant, please fill out the appropriate Grants information.
