<p> BRIDGWATER & WEST AREA</p><p>ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2017</p><p>Notice is hereby given that, in accordance with Rule 13, the Bridgwater & West Area Annual General Meeting of Members of the Club will be held on Tuesday 14th November 2017 at St Audries Bay Holiday Complex, West Quantoxhead, Nr Minehead TA4 4DY at 7.30 p.m.</p><p>Mrs C Brewer Area Hon. Secretary </p><p>AGENDA 1. Minutes of the 2016 Area Annual General Meeting. 2. Report of the Area activities during the past year. 3. Election of Area Officers and Area Committee. 4. If applicable, election of Area Representative to the Club Committee (see Special Notice below). 5. Any other Area business.</p><p>NOTES 1. Nominations for Area Officers and Area Committee must reach the Area Hon. Secretary Mrs C Brewer, 5 Hamber Lea, Bishops Lydeard, Taunton, Somerset TA4 3NJ at least 7 days before the Meeting or may be taken at the Meeting. 2. Admittance to the Area Annual General Meeting will only be gained on production of the current membership card. 3. The Annual General Meeting of the Club will take place on Monday 22nd January 2018, in the County Room, The Colin Atkinson Pavilion, The County Ground Taunton commencing at 7.30 p.m.</p><p>SPECIAL NOTICE Nominations for Area Representative to the Club Committee must be received in writing duly proposed and seconded by two Members of the Area, accompanied by a photograph and brief history, to the Chief Executive at least 30 days before the Club AGM (see Rule 11.6. below). If necessary, a ballot paper containing names, addresses, photographs and brief notes of all validly nominated candidates will be sent to all Members associated to the Bridgwater & West Area.</p><p>[Rule 11.6.] No Member shall be eligible for election as an Area Representative on the Committee unless: a) he is a retiring Member of the Committee, or b) he shall have been a Member for at least six (6) months and either - (i) he is a member of the Area Committee for the Area for which he wishes to serve as Area Representative, or (ii) being from outside the Area, he agrees to serve on the Area Committee immediately if elected as its Area Representative.</p>
