<p> Weaverham Parish Council Ordinary Parish Council Meeting Minutes of the meeting held at Weaverham Community Centre on Monday 17th July at 7pm</p><p>PRESENT: Cllrs Peter Wilkinson (Chairman), Eileen Bland, Julian Bland, Michelle Budden, Iain Lasseter, Bill Reynolds, John Taylor and John Freeman (acting clerk).</p><p>IN ATTENDANCE: CW&C Cllrs Charles Fifield, Harry Tonge and Paul Williams, PC Hood, PCSO Clare Murgatroyd and Peter Andrewartha.</p><p>45. Public Forum (A maximum of 10 minutes is allowed for this item) – none</p><p>46. Apologies for absence – Cllr. Roger Moss</p><p>47. Declarations of New Interests - none</p><p>48. Minutes of meeting held on 19th June were approved subject to adding to item 34 that the chairman had written to the clerk to the Cemetery committee regarding the arbour.</p><p>49. Police Matters Looking into drug activities at Thorn Wood. Speeding enforcement continues and query raised will be put to the Police and Crime Commissioner. Parking on the junction of Barrymore Road and Wallerscote Road still suffers from causing an obstruction to visibility coming out of Barrymore Road. On-going investigating of a theft at Hefferson Grange.</p><p>50. Matters arising- none</p><p>51. Finance and Personnel Committee 51.1 Agreed to pay annual subscriptions to Cheshire Community Action of £100 and Cheshire Playing Fields Association of £22.</p><p>52. Environment Committee 52.1. A meeting has been arranged with WVHT to explore the possibility of a large Christmas at Lime Avenue shops.</p><p>53. Youth Committee 53.1 Minutes of the meeting held on 12th July were received 53.2 Cllr Lasseter described how his proposed basic first aid training would operate. The Council supported the training and agreed financial support of up to £400. 53.4 An inspection sheet supplied by RoSPA for our play equipment will be sent to MCGM with a request that they use it in future. </p><p>Cllr J Bland left the meeting</p><p>54 CW&C matters whilst standing orders were suspended 54.1 Withens Lane knee rail fencing, the grassed area in front of Lime Avenue shops and the A49 roundabout are to be subject of a meeting with Jamie Barren of CW&C. The seat on Wallerscote Road obscured by grass and the obscured 30MPH speed limit signs need attention. Their schedule for the frequency of grass cutting in the village will be requested as well. It was agreed to ask CW&C to put down the longer yellow line extending to 63 Leigh Way on the Leigh Way/Church Street junction. Other junctions causing similar concerns are to be are to be brought to the attention of CW&C. Fly tipping behind the Devonshire Bakery remains a persistence problem and we will look at approaching Environmental Health. </p><p>55. Property Committee 54.1 Minutes of meeting held on 5th July were received.</p><p>56. Planning Committee 56.1 Minutes of the meeting held on 7th July were accepted.</p><p>57. Joint Cemetery Committee – meets on 18th July.</p><p>58. Community Safety Action Group – meets on 18th July</p><p>59. Meetings attended Cllr Freeman reported on the Northwich Traffic meeting and Police Safety Conference he had attended. 60. Chairman’s business – the state of a tree on Lake House field was to be reported to MCGM to determine if it required any action by the Clerk,</p><p>61. Public Forum – Peter Andrewartha reported that he was glad to see action being taken on the problems with Withens Lane verges. </p><p>62.
