<p> The Hull Judo Club U8 Judo Festival, 1st to 3rd Mon and 4th – 9th Mon Championships Sunday 19th November 2017</p><p>VENUE: Boulevard Academy Airlie Street, Hull, North Humberside HU3 3QT</p><p>FORMAT: This is a BJA Judo Festival for U8 judokas registered with the BJA and a BJA 2 star event for competitors aged from 8 years old and under 16 years of age. However, BJA under 12 rules will apply irrespective of age. Each competitor MUST produce a valid BJA licence when booking in on the day; otherwise participation will not be permitted. All competitors will wear a white judogi and must have graded in the last 6 months for the 1st to 3 Mon and 4th – 9th Mon Competition.</p><p>Competitors will be divided into pools of four based on gender and weight. Three way ties will be decided by weight (the lightest player will win). The tournament director reserves the right to amend weight categories as necessary.</p><p>EVENT 1: U8yrs Festival (must have affiliation with the BJA EVENT 2: 1st to 3rd Mon (Red Belt). EVENT 3: 4th Mon to 9th Mon (Yellow and Orange Belts). </p><p>BOOKING & The booking in and weigh in will take place on the day of the event WEIGHING IN: EVENT 1: U8yrs Festival 9:00 to 9:30 am EVENT 2: 1st Mon to 4th Mon 10:00 to 10:30 am EVENT 3: 4th Mon to 9th Mon 11:00 to 11:30am</p><p>Male competitors must weigh in wearing their judogi trouser there will be a 0.5kg allowance. Female competitors must weigh in wearing their judogi trouser and a T-shirt there will be a 0.6kg allowance.</p><p>Competitors are to provide their own Blue and White belts.</p><p>ENTRY FEE: EVENT 1: U8 Festival Players £10.00 EVENTS 2 & 3: 8yrs to U16 years old Competitors £14.00. Any lights or flashes should be disabled prior to taking any photographs of action on a contest area.
