GR number : 0394 Overstrand The Belfry CE VA Primary School 23 Cromer Road Overstrand NR27 0NT 01263 579275 Email: [email protected]</p><p>Hourly rate: £7.82 Hours of work: 1.33 hrs per day Permanent 38 weeks pa (term time only) Monday to Friday, 11:50 to 13:10</p><p>The governors of Overstrand The Belfry Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring midday supervisory assistant to join our staff team.</p><p>The post involves assisting in the preparation of the dining hall, supervising children during lunchtime, encouraging healthy eating and supporting positive play on the playground, school field and Calm Woods area. The post also involves cleaning the dining hall and tables after lunch, on rotation with other midday staff.</p><p>We are looking for someone who is:  able to work as a supportive team-player  enjoys working with children, and is calm and caring  reliable  able to communicate with children and adults  able to exert authority and give instructions in a confident manner</p><p>The successful candidate will be willing to undergo first aid training, and thereafter administer first aid to pupils, and contact parents as required. Also, to attend other training opportunities as required.</p><p>This school is determinedly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
