<p> Honda GX160/200 engine electric start conversion Helpline; call Bob on 07812 910565</p><p>Remove the pull starter, fan cover and flywheel side cover.</p><p>Lock the crank with a bar through the starter pulley slots, and undo the flywheel nut (anti-clockwise) remove the fan and starter pulley. Remove the flywheel with a suitable puller. . Fit the charging coil with 2 x 30mm x 6mm bolts as shown at “A”, you may need to drill the holes deeper with a 5mm drill, and thread the holes with a 6mm tap.</p><p>Fit the starter motor with 2 x 30mm x 6mm bolts as shown at “B”, you may need to drill the holes deeper with a 5mm drill, and thread the holes with a 6mm tap</p><p>Offer the new flywheel onto the crankshaft, making sure to align the woodruff key.</p><p> fit the fan and starter pulley, and tighten the flywheel nut </p><p>Refit the fan cover and pull starter. You will need to cut out the fan cover where the stop switch was, for the nose of the starter motor to fit.</p><p>Cut down the flywheel side cover to accommodate the starter motor.</p><p>Fit the control box to the side of the engine with 2 x 6mm x 12mm bolts, you will need to fabricate a simple bracket for the bottom fixing.</p><p>Connect the wiring in accordance with the wiring diagram</p><p>Connect the empty terminal on the solenoid to the + terminal on a suitable battery, connect the - terminal of the battery to the engine body or frame of the machine Congratulations!! Now fire up your engine</p>
