<p> CC-5000 with DynaCash over LAN Quick Notes</p><p>To set up DynaCash for use over LAN with a CC-5000, follow these steps:</p><p>Profile the CC-5000:</p><p>Each CC-5000 connected for LAN use by DynaCash must have DHCP disabled and will require a unique static IP address compatible to the subnet the CC-5000 is located on. </p><p>In the Profiler Network tab, set up the profile for LAN enabled, DHCP disabled, and give the CC- 5000 a valid static IP address and NetMask. Check the Teller PCs Communicate Via LAN box. </p><p>After changing the Network settings, profile the CC-5000 as usual.</p><p>Change DynaCash Setup System Type:</p><p>Start DynaCash Setup and open the System window from the menu option.</p><p>Select the “LAN (CC-5000)” option. </p><p>Response Latency is 0 by default. If experiencing command timeouts due to network traffic it may need to be set to a higher value. For example, setting it to 10 would give DynaCash 10 extra seconds to retry to establish communication with the server before it times out and disconnects. Modify the dynacash.ini file:</p><p>Before setting up the dynacash.ini you will need to know the computer names of the workstations on the left and right sides of the dispenser. Look in the computer’s system properties under the “Network Identification” Tab for Windows 2000 systems, “Computer Name” for Windows XP systems, or System Info for Wyse terminals.</p><p>In the DynaCash.ini file is a section called [Workstations]. The [Workstations] section will need the workstation names, the IP addresses for the CC-5000, and the port number (9001 for side A and 9002 for side B) for the side of the Dispenser you want to dispense from to be written in that order. They are separated by the vertical bar ( shift + \ ) symbol. There are no spaces in the string of characters. Each CC-5000 must have a unique IP address.</p><p>Note: When putting in the IP addresses for the CC-5000, the IP address should not have leading zeros in them. For example 192.168.001.001 should be 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.001.101 should be 192.168.1.101.</p><p>Here is an example:</p><p>[Workstations] Workstation1=ADD-20003245|192.168.1.1|9001 Workstation2=ADD-20034523|192.168.1.1|9002 Workstation3= Workstation4=</p><p>After modifying the ini file, Choose the “File” selection at the top menu and “Save” the settings.</p>
