Our spelling bee with the 18 finalists was a night event. Our first and second place kids went 27 rounds. Wow! We had a winter band concert that was well attended. Our kids have really improved and sounded great. We were visited by the ADE due to the focus school designation. As part of the designation they stop in to observe and evaluate us. Our report was excellent as we have our programs aligned to our School Improvement Plan. Our teachers had a chance to talk to the evaluators as well as data review with the administrators. It was very valuable and we received excellent reviews with suggestions. From this meeting the administrative team is setting end of the year goals and direction.
