The company has recently added a brand new Pupil Premium Success Stories section to it’s website to highlight how primary schools are using the incredibly popular Clicker 6 to raise pupils’ literacy levels. </p><p>Clicker 6 is the child-friendly talking word processor that helps pupils of all abilities to significantly develop their reading and writing skills. Many schools have invested Pupil Premium funding in the software in a bid to close the gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers. As a result, pupils are demonstrating increased confidence, greater learning enjoyment and improved literacy levels.</p><p>Burrowmoor Primary School is using Clicker 6 across the school and across the curriculum to develop pupils’ writing skills. “Whether you have a pupil really struggling at the sentence level or a high achiever you want to push, Clicker can be tailored to provide them with the particular support they need, not only in literacy but across the curriculum, which makes it excellent value for money. Our pupils have not only become better writers, but more engaged and confident ones.” summarises Laura Walker. </p><p>Hollyfield Primary School is using Clicker 6 to improve the literacy skills and confidence of a group of 15 reluctant writers in Year 4. “The way in which Clicker engages these pupils is vital. Those that had been finding writing difficult had started to actively dislike writing, which was having a knock- on effect on their behaviour in class.
