<p> Criteria for 2018 Jo Conn Guild Outstanding Engineer of the Year</p><p>The “Jo Conn Guild Outstanding Engineer of the Year” is the highest award given to an individual by The Chattanooga Area E-Week Committee. It is presented to an engineer who has made outstanding professional contributions to his/her profession, public welfare and/or humankind.</p><p>Qualifications/Method of Selection: Any engineer of recognized standing is eligible for nomination, provided that he/she is a citizen of the United States and is registered as a Professional Engineer, (P.E.).</p><p>The E-Week Awards Committee makes the selection of the winner, weighing the following criteria:</p><p>● Selection will be based on candidate’s accomplishments during the past calendar year 2017. ► Note: Prior year’s accomplishments can only be used as supporting evidence of candidate’s achievements for current award year.</p><p>● Graduate of an accredited engineering college with a baccalaureate in a recognized engineering Discipline.</p><p>● Registered as a professional engineer, (active or retired status).</p><p>● Known for their engineering achievements in the Chattanooga area.</p><p>● The candidate’s professional integrity is beyond question.</p><p>● The professional reputation is more than local in character.</p><p>● The undertaking or services upon which this award is based are of high order.</p><p>Nomination Format: Nominations must be made on the attached Engineer of the Year nomination form. You may also include extra-attached information such as newspaper clippings, company announcements, resume or other vital supporting information about candidate. The nomination form must be submitted in electronic format if possible with any supporting data to be typed, scanned and sent as an attachment along with the nomination form.
