<p>Founded May 1, 1986, JTS is involved in four types of business activities: (1) Consulting, (2) Chemical Distribution, (3) Chemical Trading, and (4) Agent Arrangements. </p><p>1. Consulting: JTS has consulting agreements with a number of US and international companies. The consulting agreements are for technical projects, marketing and financial analysis of projects. We arrange both acquisitions and divestment of major production facilities.</p><p>2. Distribution: JTS’s chemical distribution business is primarily based on imported chemicals with many of our customers resulting from projects that started as consulting agreements. Finding competitive products, importing chemicals and providing technical support for our customers are the overriding goals of our distribution business.</p><p>3. Chemical Trading: The chemical trading division involves both US and foreign trading. As with our distribution business, many of our trading arrangements started with consulting. The personnel at JTS combine over 75 years of experience in the chemical industry and use the relationships that were developed to find trading opportunities. The major products traded are caustic soda, chlorine, solvents and prime plastic resins.</p><p>4. Agent Arrangements: JTS has agent arrangements with a number of companies to distribute specialty chemicals and PVC compounds. The agreements were made possible by JTS’s ability to provide technical service to users of these chemicals. </p>
