<p> Parish of Langdon Hills</p><p>St. Mary’s and St. John’s Welcome to St. Mary’s and St. John’s!</p><p>We would like you to feel part of our church community and welcome you to church activities which we provide. We hope this will help you to feel part of the local community as well as to make new friends. With that in mind you might be interested in the following:</p><p>Churches We have two churches: St. John’s, Forest Glade, Great Berry and St. Mary’s, High Road, Langdon Hills (at the top of the hill in the nature reserve).</p><p>Weddings St. Mary’s Church offers a beautiful location for a wedding ceremony. </p><p>Baptisms We baptise both children and adults at St. Mary’s and St. John’s. </p><p>Weekly Church Services Services every Sunday at both St. Mary’s (9am) and St. John’s (11am) and other special services throughout the year. All are welcome to all services. At St. John’s we also run a Sunday School at the morning service. This provides for children between the ages of 3-14. Creche facilities are available for under 3’s. First Steps A group for parents/carers and babies/toddlers that meets Monday pm (1.15 – 2.45) at St. John’s Church for play, singing, story, craft and friendship. </p><p>Pre-School At St. John’s for children between the ages of 2 and 5. Open Monday – Friday (9.15 – 11.45 am and 12.30 -3.00 pm). Registered with Ofsted.</p><p>Out of Schools Clubs Breakfast and After School facility at St. John’s for children between the ages of 4 and 11. Registered with Ofsted.</p><p>Coffee Morning Wednesday Mornings from 9.15 – 10.15 – Coffee Bar at St. John’s is open for refreshments, chat and de-stress – All Welcome.</p><p>Social Events The church runs a programme of social events throughout the year. Further information available in church.</p><p>Alpha The Church runs regular Alpha courses which provide an opportunity to find out more about the Christian Faith in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Small Groups These meet in people’s homes on various evenings during the week with the purpose of helping people to grow in their Christian Faith by worshipping, learning and working together.</p><p>Prayer We are always happy to pray with you or for any needs you may have.
