<p>Parent Dragon Connection – September 18, 2016:</p><p> Seventh grade students need proof of their TdaP and Meningitis boosters at school by September 28th.  Please stay current with your child’s fees, cafeteria charges, and digital repair fees. Students that owe more than $50 will not be able to participate in extra- curricular activities. </p><p> Progress reports will come home on Tuesday – if you have any concerns regarding your child’s performance in class, please contact your child’s teacher for a conference. </p><p> The Pay It Forward Club will meet in Ms. Badgett’s room on Wednesday from 3:00-3:45.</p><p> Jr. Beta Club members will meet in Ms. Jenkins’ room on Thursday morning from 7:15 – 7:30. </p><p> The Ballroom Dance Club will have its first meeting on Tuesday, September 27th from 3:00-3:45. New members are welcome to join. See Mrs. Yourous for more information. </p><p> There will not be Speech/Debate practice this week – practice will resume next week on Tuesday afternoon. </p><p> Yearbooks are on sale for $25 including 4 free icons. This offer will end September 30th and the cost will go up to $30. Methods of payment are through the link on our school website or in the Media Center to Mrs. Patterson. A yearbook form is available from homeroom teachers. Checks should be made payable to SMS. Yearbooks will be distributed at the end of the school year. </p><p> There is a home softball game and tennis match on Monday against West Pine Middle – games begin at 4:00.</p><p> There is a home football game on Wednesday against SanLee Middle School. The game will begin at 4:00. </p><p> There is a cross country meet on Wednesday at West Pine Middle School. It will begin at 4:00</p><p> Our Softball and Tennis teams will be away on Thursday afternoon at SanLee Middle School.  Students that are staying after school for a game must have $2 – they will come to the cafeteria at dismissal and walk to the field as a group. Students may not leave campus and return without an adult. </p><p> Sixth grade students will participate in CoGat testing this week during their flex and first period class – please make sure your student is on time. </p><p> Friday is an early dismissal day.
