<p>14 June 2012 Press Release Captain Cook and SeaLink Release First Joint International Brochure at ATE SeaLink Travel Group, Australia’s most dynamic tourism and Transport Company with iconic brands such as Captain Cook Cruises, SeaLink Queensland and SeaLink South Australia has produced its first composite international product brochure, since it purchased both Captain Cook Cruises and SeaLink Queensland (formerly Sunferries) in 2011. This is the first time that eight of SeaLink Travel Group’s businesses have come together to create one piece of marketing material specifically for the international trade market including wholesalers and inbound operators. The stunning, glossy 28-page brochure, titled ‘Discover Australia’ will be launched this week at ATE in Perth and highlights four of Australia’s most iconic and favoured tourism destinations; Sydney Harbour, Kangaroo Island, the mighty Murray River and the Great Barrier Reef. “This composite brochure really shows how all of our tourism and transport businesses in each state of Australia are working together to market and promote our entire range of products and services to the international market” said Mr Jeff Ellison, Managing Director and CEO for SeaLink Travel Group. “With more than 600 staff across the country, 22 ships and ferries, more than 30 coaches and touring vehicles servicing over two million customers annually, we are in a good place to be able to look after our international guests and showcase some of the most brilliant tourism experiences that they will ever discover in Australia”, he said. Coinciding with the release of the new brochure, Captain Cook Cruises and SeaLink have strengthened their international sales presence by increasing their global sales and marketing team in order to build business opportunities across international markets. Heading up the International Sales team is Sydney based Richard Doyle who has had over 30 years’ experience in the travel and tourism industry. Richard is supported by a very experienced Sales Team including Gerald Fitzpatrick and Rudi Francken who will be responsible for the Inbound UK and European markets, Len Whittaker - Inbound USA and Canadian markets, Aki Hirabayashi - Japan and Lucy Jin and Tae Oh who will be responsible for all of the Asian markets.</p><p>The brochure features many of Australia’s iconic destinations including  Sightseeing, dining and charter cruises on Sydney Harbour with Captain Cook Cruises  Ferry services, tours and holiday packages to Kangaroo Island with SeaLink South Australia  Small group adventure tours with Kangaroo Island Adventure Tours  Luxury 4WD eco-touring with Kangaroo Island Odysseys offering foreign language driver/guides  Sightseeing tours of Adelaide and South Australia with Adelaide Sightseeing  Murray River cruising on the gracious PS Murray Princess with Captain Cook Cruises  Ferry services and holiday packages operating between Townsville and Magnetic Island on the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland</p><p>ATE delegates will also receive a Captain Cook-SeaLink USB containing copies of the brochure, itineraries, photographic images and contact information for the International Sales Team.
