ACP to promote important knowledge and compost availability: b.i. Distinction between compost and chip & grind material… (get support from CalRecycle & industry members) b.ii. Clean Compost (low trash worth paying for) b.iii. STA Composters c. ACP to promote general compost use: to meet agronomic, water conservation and greenhouse gas mitigation goals (as per it’s ACP 2015 Goals and Tactics) to Multiple Potential Large Buyer Groups c.i. Include cities and counties c.ii. Include ag 1.1. Organic 1.2. Traditional 1.3. Carbon Farming and Ranching c.iii. Include, but go beyond, Caltrans, and other state agencies 2. ACP to leverage the Governor’s “Healthy Soils Initiative”: a. Get more directly involved in the Governor’s Healthy Soil Initiative – Start with developing relationship with CDFA who is writing the plan. b. Continue the conversation of including the Soil Food Web analyses into the STA program c.
