<p> Middlesex Genealogical Society Director of the Board Revised: February 12, 2015</p><p>Reports to: Board President</p><p>Length of Term: 3 years (unless otherwise specified) with a maximum of 9 years as a member of the MGS Board of Directors.</p><p>Purpose:  Manage all affairs of and oversee policies, procedures and direction of the Middlesex Genealogical Society.</p><p>Duties and Responsibilities:  Shall assist with the leadership and general promotion of the Middlesex Genealogical Society including its vision, mission and needs.  Serve on at least one MGS committee.  Shall attend all Board. Program, and Special meetings of Middlesex Genealogical Society. If unable to attend, shall notify the Secretary. Three (3) consecutive unexcused absences by a director shall constitute an automatic dismissal of such director from the Board.  In general, perform all the duties as may from time to time be assigned by the President of the Board.  Conform to all Middlesex Genealogical Society By-Laws  Directors are expected to bring experience, competence and maturity to all endeavors of the Society. Officers are charged with the daily administration and operation of the Society. The immediate Past President of the Society has a seat on the Board of Directors to provide continuity and assistance to the President and the Board.</p><p>Requirements:</p>
