<p> Pierce County Shooting Sports 4-H Club 26th Annual BB Gun and Air Rifle Shoot</p><p>Sunday, March 13, 2016 Pierce City Auditorium Doors open at 9:15, first line starts at 10:00 Cost: $5.00 per event Medals given for 1st through 4th with ribbons for 5th through 10th BB Gun</p><p>Division Age as of January 1, 2016 Junior 8-9 Intermediate 10-11 Senior 12-15</p><p>NRA 5 meter BB gun rules apply with the following exceptions: 1. ALL BB guns will be allowed. Multi-pump guns are allowed 3 pumps only. 2. We will shoot 4 positions in the following order: prone, standing, sitting, and kneeling. 3. Eye protection is required for ALL persons on the firing line. 4. Coaching is mandatory for all junior shooters and is encouraged for all intermediate and senior shooters. 5. Time allowed is 10 minutes per target. 6. All guns must be unloaded when brought to the match.</p><p>Air Rifle Division Age as of January 1, 2016 Junior 8 – 10 Intermediate 11 – 14 Senior 15 – 18</p><p>National Standard 3 Position air rifle rules apply with the following exceptions: 1. Sporter air rifles only. Rule 4.2.1 2. 3 positions in the following order: prone, standing, and kneeling. (one target each) 3. Eye protection is required for ALL persons on the firing line. 4. Time limit is 10 minutes for prone, 15 minutes for standing and 10 minutes for kneeling. 5. Open Air Rifle Contest Held in conjunction with the 4-H contest Cost: $5 Ages: open to shooters of all ages, all shooters compete in the same division. Rifles: any .177 caliber precision or sporter air rifle. Equipment: as allowed in National Standard precision air rifle This includes the use of gloves, coats, pants, etc. Time: 15 minutes per target, with a total of 80 minutes per relay. Relays: start at 10:00 The match will consist of 4 targets shot in the offhand position.
