<p>Sonia Copeskey Counsel (630) 724-2211 [email protected] </p><p>Sonia is Counsel for the Property Loss Research Bureau. Sonia analyzes, researches and writes about a variety of first party coverage issues. She also responds to member's property insurance coverage inquiries on a daily basis.</p><p>Sonia joined PLRB in 2012 as Database Counsel. In that position, she maintained the legal accuracy of the database, and ensured that case law and other legal references were accurate and current on property matters.</p><p>Prior to PLRB, Sonia was a contract attorney at Allstate Insurance Company in the Protection Law Department where she focused on risk management, regulatory compliance, and other property & liability matters.</p><p>Sonia is a graduate of Marquette University, where she double majored in English and Political Science and minored in Spanish. She received her J.D. in 2007, graduating cum laude from The John Marshall Law School. While in law school, Sonia worked for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (Region V) and was a member of The John Marshall Law Review. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.</p>
