<p>1. Introduction To encourage general public to exercise their right to choose government, it is very important to assure that the place where they will be going to cast vote is well equipped with all basic facilities. The AMF mobile app has been developed to ensure the availability of basic minimum facilities at each and every polling station. Using this App, user can upload the photographs of all seven basic minimum facilities including Toilet, Electricity, Shade, Ramp, Telephone, Water and Furniture of his/her assigned assembly’s polling stationsusing a smartphone. While capturing the photograph, latitude and longitude of the location as well as date – time stamp is recorded automatically and gets uploaded on the central server of the election. The uploaded data is further used for reporting to various high level officers. 2. How to install the app </p><p> a. Download the APK from the given link in your mobile and install it. b. If you have downloaded the APK on a computer, then you need to transfer it to your Smartphone using USB cable. Once you have the APK on your mobile, you need to install it. c. Before installing the APK make sure that the checkbox for ‘Unknown Sources’, is checked (on some phones, this might be under Settings->Security). This is to allow your phone to install an application that is not part of the Android market as this check is marked in order to prevent phone from installing useless apps. d. While installing app, your phone will asked certain permissions like accessing its camera or GPS make sure you allow it as it will be required to successfully use the app. e. Once the installation is done, you can use the application. </p><p>3. How to use the application AMF app</p><p>The AMF app functions in two mode:- . ONLINE MODE (Uses Network Connectivity) . OFFLINE MODE (Do not uses Network Connectivity) For providing ease of use to the user and enhances the performance of app by solving the defined purpose efficiently. a. Online Mode: Activities in point 5. Logging into the application, 6. Selecting AC and downloading PS,8.Syncing Data and 9. Reset AC comes under this mode which requires internet connectivity for functioning.For logging into application user must on his/her mobile data or Wi-Fi. </p><p> b. Offline Mode:Activity inPoint 7. Clicking and Saving Imagescomes under this mode which doesn’t require internet connectivity for functioning. As images are initially save locally so this activity can be done in offline mode.</p><p>4. Starting the application To start the AMF application, follow the steps given below: a. Click on AMF icon in application menu. b. On clicking the AMF app icon first time after installing, the application starts and display page shown in Fig. 1 for a second followed by Login Page as shown in Fig. 2</p><p>Fig. 1 Home Page Fig. 2 Login Page</p><p>5. Logging into the application To enter the AMF application and use its feature, user need to login once by entering his/her User ID and Password provided with the APK.</p><p>Fig. 3 a. Once user enters correct User ID and Password and clicks on LOGIN button, the app validates user credentials from the server and if the information provided is correct it lets user enter the application. b. If wrong credentials are entered, an error message is displayed. c. After successful login, Fig. 4 is displayed. 6. Selecting AC and downloading PS a. Fig. 4 is displayed once user successfully login into the application. Here district from which user is logged in is displayed and he/she can select its assigned assembly from the list of assemblies as shown in Fig. 5</p><p>Fig. 4 First Page after login Fig. 5 List of AC b. Clicking and Saving Images</p><p> a. User must select a PS from the list as shown in Fig. 8 to move further in application. Fig. 8 PS List</p><p> b. After selection Fig. 9 like page is displayed and user can move forward after making all correct selections by clicking on CLICK TO TAKE IMAGES Button. </p><p>Fig. 9 PS Selected c. User will land on to Fig. 10 where all those facilities options are displayed whose images are to be taken. User must click on फफटफ लल option and a dialog as shown in Fig. 11 is displayed. After taking all the pictures, user must click on SAVE IMAGES option in order to save images locally. f. ‘IMAGES SAVED’ message is displayed on successful completion of task and user is redirected to polling station selection page in order to choose another polling station or sync data.</p><p>Fig. 13Screen after images get saved</p><p>8. Syncing Data</p><p> a. Once user is done with image clicking and saving for all the polling stations of assigned AC, he/she can sync data to the servers by clicking on CLICK TO SYNC DATA button as shown in Fig. 14 Fig. 14 Page displaying SYNC Button b. Once syncing completes count of polling stations whose records got synced get displayed as in Fig. 16 Fig. 16 Page showing synced records</p><p>9. Reset AC</p><p> a. If user chooses wrong AC by mistake then he/she can reset AC by clicking ‘CLICK TO RESET AC’ button as shown in Fig. 17</p><p>Fig. 17 b.
