<p>Dear families… 9/2/15</p><p>The following opportunities are available to Chorus kids this Fall. </p><p>1) ACDA Honors Choir. The CT chapter of the American Choral Directors Association is holding a one-day honors choir festival on October 24th at the Hartt School of Music in West Hartford. Clark Lane will pay the $35 registration, but transportation is NOT provided. Your child will need to learn his/her part on four pieces of music prior to the festival. I can take up to six students: four treble (high) voices, two baritone (low) voices. More information pertaining to dress code, lunch, and concert tickets will be forthcoming for those who will be attending. All permission slips must be turned in by September 11 th. </p><p>Coming soon…</p><p>2) Eastern Region Music Festival Auditions. I will pre-audition any student who has never participated in Eastern Region before. The regional auditions will be held on November 7th in Colchester, CT. The highest scoring students from each school in the Eastern Region will be accepted into one of two festival Choirs which rehearse on March 4th and 5th, 2016 (snow dates are the following weekend). I will stay after school to help students learn the audition music. Clark Lane pays for the audition fee.
