This course is worth 5 credits.</p><p>EVALUATION</p><p>Students will be evaluated on assignments, class activities, quizzes, and tests. Students will have the opportunity to provide feedback and ideas for evaluating their progress throughout the semester. Marks will be on a cumulative basis per semester.</p><p>Classroom mark (Terms one and two) 50% Assignments 30 % Tests 17.5% Quizzes 2.5% + Final DIPLOMA Exam 50%</p><p>NOTE: The passing grade for this course is 50%. Students need at least 65% for acceptance in a post-secondary institution.</p><p>ATTENDANCE</p><p>Regular attendance is expected. A large proportion of the marks will be earned through work assigned and completed in class.
