<p>The School Board of the Graford Independent School District met in a regular meeting, Thursday, February 25, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., with the following members in attendance: Travis Rogers, Jeff Lemley, Megan Ragle, Eddie Laney, Rowdy Glover, Branden Waters and Dennis Holt, Superintendent.</p><p>President Travis Rogers called the meeting to order There was a quorum present Jon Altum was absent Invocation was given by Branden Waters Pledges Public Forum</p><p>1. District Reports: District reports were given by Superintendent, Dennis Holt </p><p>2. Motion by Ragle, seconded by Lemley, to approve Snow, Garrett, Williams, CPS’s as Graford ISD’s 2015 – 2016 Independent Auditors Motion Carried: 6 – 0 For: All members present Against: none</p><p>3. Motion by Waters, seconded by Laney, to approve budget amendments as presented Motion Carried: 6 – 0 For: All member present Against: None</p><p>4. Motion by Glover, seconded by Lemley, to approve Rene Bates auction items Motion Carried: 6 – 0 For: All member present Against: None</p><p>5. Motion by Lemley, seconded by Waters, to approve Order of Cancellation for the May 7, 2016 GISD Board of Trustee Election if no candidate files by the filing deadline Motion Carried: 6 – 0 For: All members present Against: None</p><p>6. Consent Agenda a. Approve the minutes of the January 28, 2016 regular meeting b. Financial and expenditure list</p><p>Motion by Waters, seconded by Laney, to approve the consent agenda Motion Carried: 6 – 0 For: All members present Against: None</p><p>The Graford ISD School Board went into Closed Session at 7:26 p.m. and came out at 8:16 p.m. Govt. Code 551.074 No motions or votes were made in closed session it was for discussion only</p><p>7. District Personnel: a. Motion by Lemley, seconded by Ragle, to accept School Board Member Jon Altum’s resignation from the School Board Motion Carried: 6 – 0 For: All members present Against: None b. Motion by Ragle, seconded by Waters, to approve adding Clay Burleson to the Substitute Teaching list Motion Carried: 6 – 0 For: All members present Against: None</p><p>8. Motion by Laney, seconded by Glover, to approve Superintendent, Dennis Holt’s contract with a 1 year extension and 10% pay raise Motion Carried: 6 – 0 For: All members present Against: None</p><p>9.
