<p> Woodland Home & School’s Walk-A-Thon 2016</p><p>The annual Woodland Walk-A-Thon will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 (rain date Wednesday, November 2, 2016).</p><p>The Walk-A-Thon is Home & School’s main fundraiser for the year. Any donations collected are used to fund Home & School programs: assemblies, school supplies, Fun Day, 4th Grade activities, mini-grants for teachers, field trip transportation and more.</p><p>Home & School asks all students to assist in collecting donations to support the Walk-A-Thon. As an incentive, any student returning their addressed and stamped letters to school by October 14, will be entered into a drawing for prizes. Woodland students raising any amount of money, either by letter or online, by 11/18 will also be entered into a drawing for prizes. To make this event as successful as possible, Home & School asks that each student complete the attached form letters and return them to their teacher. To make things easier, we have included envelopes for your convenience. Below are easy to follow steps to follow to help us make this year’s Walk-A-Thon a huge success!</p><p>DO NOT SEAL THE ENVELOPES!!!</p><p>1. Fill out the attached form letters to send to your family and friends. 2. Address and stamp the envelopes provided and place your child’s letters in the envelopes but leave them unsealed. Envelopes are unsealed so we can include a return envelope to make it easier for your friends and family to send their donations back. 3. Return the letters & envelopes by 10/14 to your child’s teacher to be eligible for our prize drawings. 4. *NEW* Online Donations can now be made to the Walk-A-Thon through signup.com! http://signup.com/go/N6bCgy 5.
