<p>For Immediate Release</p><p>Contact: Lisa Stanley 603-332-5506</p><p>Rochester – Maurices Clothing Store at the Rochester Crossing shopping center on Washington Street will be offering discount coupons to shoppers who bring clothing donations to the Rochester location between July 24th and July 26th. The clothing items are being collected to benefit the Rochester Rotary Club’s “Back-to-School” Clothing drive.</p><p>The Rotary Club is currently collecting new and “gently” used clothing items to be given out at a community-wide event on August 22nd. The goal of the project is to collect and then distribute new and “gently” used clothing for school-aged children. Last year’s event resulted in more than 1,000 bags of clothing being distributed to more than 200 area families. </p><p>As a thank you for the donations, Maurices customers will receive 20% off merchandise coupons. "The clothing will go to those within our own community. Unfortunately, the need continues to grow. This is one small way that Maurices can help out," says Cory Seratt, store manager and organizer of the event. "We are encouraging everyone in our community to help us out in some way; every little bit helps. Simply bring your items into the store located at Rochester Crossing to make a difference in someone's life.”</p><p>For every three items donated, the Rochester Maurices will provide a 20% off coupon which may be used to purchase any one regularly priced item in the store. There is no limit on the number of coupons that can be earned and up to three coupons may be used at one time for no less than three items. The coupons may be used anytime before December 31, 2009.</p><p>Donations can also be dropped off at other locations around the city, although they will not qualify for the discount coupons from Maurices.
