<p> SMS Monday, October 16, 2017</p><p> Students – if you go to the gym in the morning before school, you need to go to the outside basketball courts for this week. </p><p> Healthy Schools will be in our district to administer flu shots (NOT NASAL MIST) later this month. Flu Shots will be administered at SMS October 27, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. These are FREE!!! Students, your teachers will give you a consent form on Monday, October 16th that MUST be turned in no later than October 26th to receive the shot.</p><p> Girls soccer tryouts will be the week of October 16th. You will not be allowed to tryouts without a completed sports physical.</p><p> Conditioning for girls & boys basketball will be Monday Oct. 16th, Wednesday Oct 18th & Friday Oct 20th from 3pm – 5:30pm in the gym. You must have a completed physical to participate. Boys & Girls Basketball tryouts will be Oct. 23rd & 24th. Football players will tryout on Oct. 25th.</p><p> Boys Soccer tryouts will begin Monday, October 16th at 3:00pm behind the portables. You must have a sports physical to try out.</p><p> School pictures will be taken on October 26th.</p><p> There will be a Bootacular Bash Dance on October 27th from 3 – 5 in the multi- purpose room. Pre-sale tickets will be on sale during lunch this week & next. You can bring a mask to wear to the dance ONLY, not classes.  Students, please note that the front office cannot take messages for you from your parents. Please make sure you know how you are getting home before you come to school in the morning. Thank you!</p><p> Do you like to go camping, hiking and fishing? Do you think you are strong enough to climb to the top of our rock wall or brave enough to do a week canoe trip down the Suwannee River? Then come sign up for Boy Scouts!! We will be having our Boy Scout sign up Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 in the Multi Purpose room. Hope to see you there!</p>
