<p>Human Resources and Payroll Specialist Shasta Family YMCA is looking for candidates to fill a Human Resources and Payroll Specialist position. This is a part-time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Pay rate is $14-18 per hour depending on knowledge, skills and abilities. Employment comes with complimentary family membership to the YMCA facility, discounts on child care and programs and an excellent retirement plan of 12% after 2 years of employment. Payroll duties include coordinating payroll function, currently utilizing ADP, reviewing and checking online timecards, following up on errors or issues, processing payroll semi-monthly, entering new hires, entering pay and job changes, preparing manual checks, assisting staff with questions regarding payroll, providing reports to management, working with ADP on needs of the system and related payroll functions. Human resources duties include placing job postings, processing resumes, preparing offer packets, managing DOJ LIVESCAN process, ensuring required paperwork is received, standard employee correspondence, maintaining personnel files, processing terminations. May include some benefits administration. This person must be a people person, dependable, detail oriented, work well in a fast-paced environment, easy to work with, flexible, computer literate and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ideal candidate will have a minimum AA degree with at least 5 years related experience in payroll, human resources and related roles.
