<p> Lake Hills Montessori</p><p>November 2016 Class Notes </p><p>Calendar: November 11 Veteran’s Day- No school</p><p>November 21 & 22 parent/teacher conferences</p><p>November 23-25th Thanksgiving break</p><p>We are learning about the Mayflower, the pilgrims and the Wampanoag Indians. We will be preparing our own feast using corn which was introduced to the pilgrims by the Native Americans. We will grind corn for cornbread and popcorn for our celebration. In science we are learning the differences between living and non- living. In geography we are introducing South America and its animals. In art we will combine finger paint technique and printing to create a composition inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night.</p><p>Composer: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
