<p> Junior Track and Field Fixtures 2016 (U9/U11/U13/U15) Competing in Track & Field competitions is an excellent way to measure improvement across a wide range of events requiring very different skills. Athletes in these younger age groups should avoid specialisation and try to develop a wide range of skills so they are not restricted to a few events when they do specialise. I keep a record of best performances in all the events you compete in and then use scoring tables to work out the Top Point Scorer and the Most Improved Athlete awards which are presented at the Awards evening.
