<p> Retiree Meeting 9/7</p><p>1. Applied for Paypal Credit Card Reader - $149. This will be helpful for shirt sales, reunion sales and chili sales. Money will go right into our Paypal account, Randy can transfer funds to the bank. Randy got a debit card from TD bank for Asc – can use to pay postage for mailing shirts, reunion expenses etc. Receipts and paper trail better than writing checks for reimbursement.</p><p>2. Chili Cook Off – 2/18/2017 @ Bryant Park. Would like to see us split proceeds (50/50) with organization. I know Butch Smith could use money, maybe Cindy Steinhoff too? Need to decide by October meeting so we can start fund raising letter distribution. Thoughts?</p><p>3. Reunion – rec’d $500 from FF Council, should pay for drinks and paper products for Fri/Sat nights. Fri night is cookout so price should be about $7- 10/each, Sat is catered BBQue so should be $15/each. Will need people to help put food away on Thursday am, decorate on Fri am, cook on Fri afternoon, restock on Saturday afternoon. Need headcount for both days. </p><p>Looked at doing wine bus but too expensive ($250/hr for 15 pass bus X 6 hrs)</p><p>4. Uniforms – had people ask about buying new uniforms from county vendor. They can email me and I will get PBCFR to approve so they can be put on the approved list to purchase uniforms</p><p>5. University of Miami – should be getting Annual Cancer Survey ready for retirees by/around October. Two doctors will come to the reunion and be at a table for answering questions, promoting the survey.</p><p>6. Shirts – Hannigan has some for people coming to lunch. We have about 55 shirts left that will come to reunion. If we do not have a desired size, they can order and pay and we will have printed. Minimum batch = 24 shirts. </p><p>7. Union Retirement Party – 9/23, need people to rsvp to Traci Moore</p><p>8. 9/11 Remembrance at PBG FD, flyers posted and sent out.</p><p>9. In August Randy renewed our Incorporation with the state.</p>
