<p> HIGH LIFE HIGHLAND</p><p>Nominations Committee</p><p>Minutes of Meeting of the Nominations Committee of High Life Highland held in Committee Room 2, Highland Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness on Thursday 21 February 2013 at 9.00 a.m.</p><p>Present:</p><p>Mr D Millar, Director Mr L Young (substituting for Mr C Ewan) Mr I Murray, Chief Executive Mr H Fraser, Director of Education, Culture and Sport (Highland Council)</p><p>In attendance:-</p><p>Ms M Morris, Company Secretary</p><p>1. Apologies for Absence</p><p>There was an apology for absence from Mr C Ewan.</p><p>2. Declarations of Interest</p><p>There were no Declarations of Interest.</p><p>3. Appointment of Two Independent Directors for High Life Highland</p><p>The Committee were reminded that three candidates had been shortleeted for interview. Using the interview questions agreed at their last meeting, the Committee proceeded to interview the candidates.</p><p>Following consideration, it was AGREED to recommend to the Highland Council that Mr D Graham and Mr D McLachlan be appointed as Independent Directors of High Life Highland. </p><p>In relation to the vacancy which had arisen form the recent resignation of Mr C Ewan, the Nominations Committee, having revisited the applications received, AGREED that the matter be deferred until the next meeting of the Board where the need to secure applications from applicants having skills in the commercial sector could be explored.</p><p>The meeting ended at 11.10 a.m.</p>
