<p> 12th REGION OUTSTANDING CHEERLEADER APPLICATION</p><p>The 12th Region Cheerleading sponsors are happy to announce the availability of the 12th Region Outstanding Cheerleader Award. This award is offered to honor an outstanding cheerleader in the 12th Region each year. This award emphasizes the following areas:</p><p>1. Cheerleading Achievements 2. Academic Standards 3. School Honors and Activities 4. Community Honors Activities 5. High Moral Character</p><p>In order to qualify for this award, the applicant must be a member in good standing with his/her squad and with the KAPOS Association.</p><p>PROCEDURE All applicants must:</p><p>A. Complete all parts of the application. Please type or print in ink. B. Obtain 3 letters of recommendation from: 1. Principal 2. Coach 3. One other person of choice The character of the applicant must be above reproach. C. Submit a completed application, transcript, and letters of recommendation by January 1st. Incomplete applications or applications received after this date will not be considered. D. Submit a photograph with the application. E. The school counselor or principal must complete Section V. F. You may add additional pages for activities if needed. G. The recipient of the award will be announced during the Regional Cheerleading Competition. The winner will receive a plaque and a scholarship. All applicants must be present H.
