Be sure the car is completely cool. Clean the face side of the factory muffler with household rubbing alcohol to remove any and all dirt and road grime.</p><p>2. Swipe the muffler face with the adhesive promoter provided just in the center where the red attachment tape will come into contact with the muffler end.</p><p>3. Peel the small strip of tape from the back of the plate then apply small dabs of household clear 100% silicone adhesive directly to the plate on either side of the attachment tape then slide the plate over the exhaust tip and rotate it so that it lines up with the muffler then press in position. Allow several hours for the silicone to set. NOTE: The red tape is just to secure the plates in place long enough to allow the silicone to set and is not intended to secure the plates by itself. TECH TIP: Sometimes the factory mufflers themselves may not be perfectly horizontal. You may be able to compensate for some of this inaccuracy by adjusting the plates to a more level position then installing them in place.</p><p>If any questions occur during installation, please contact American Car Craft at 727 857-1151.
