How many villagers do you think read fluently (very well)? ______</p><p>WEALTH</p><p>When it comes to money amongst the people in the village:</p><p>The richest 10 have 85% of the world’s weealth The poorest 20 have less than $2 per day.</p><p>If it were divided equally each person would have about $12,500 US dollars a year. </p><p>REFLECTIONS There is enough money in the village for everyone pay for food, shelter, and necessities, if the wealth was divided evenly. If is, however, not divided evenly. What connections can you make between the way the wealth is shared in the village and the way wealth is shared in your community, region, province, or country?
