<p> PRESS RELEASE</p><p>29 October 2012 </p><p>App from VELUX Group wins international acclaim</p><p>The internationally renowned FWA (Favourite Website Awards) yesterday presen- ted the VELUX Group with its Mobile Of The Day Award for the app, VELUX In- staller.</p><p>The prestigious Mobile of the Day is awarded exclusively to innovations that manage to combine the latest technology with creative and ground-breaking ideas. And that was ex- actly the idea behind the acclaimed app VELUX Installer. </p><p>The app was developed for the VELUX Group’s numerous installers around the world, whose job it is daily to inspire customers to choose VELUX roof windows. The app allows the in- stallers to visualise the variety of window systems they can install for the customer and, with the help of videos and photos, show the difference windows could make to a room.</p><p>VELUX Installer also contains digital versions of every VELUX Group product catalogue, so the installers no longer have to carry around a brief case full of paper when they are on their rounds of customers. </p><p>The international acclaim was met with delight in the VELUX Group.</p><p>“We wanted to create a flexible and creative tool that would make things easier for in- stallers all over the world, whether they are selling windows in Germany, Italy or Chile. A lot of time and effort has gone into it, so we are delighted to receive international recognition from FWA,” enthuses Michael K. Rasmussen, VELUX Group Marketing Director.</p><p>So far the VELUX Installer app – which was developed by the digital agency Creuna - is available through Apple’s iTunes Store in Germany, Holland and Italy.
