All approved.</p><p>DISCUSSION ITEMS:</p><p>5) Status of Co-Sers</p><p> a) Library Automation Co-Ser 508 All districts are at current version of where they need to be for OPALS and Follett.</p><p> b) Library Services/Media Co-Ser 516</p><p>1. Central Islip removed themselves from the co-ser. SLS is working with them to make sure they have what they need.</p><p>2. Added the following databases to the VRC:</p><p> World Almanac for Kids ~ for elementary and middle school collections  FactCite 123 ~ for all three collections  Rosen eBooks: Spotlight on Kids Can Code (4 titles) and Explorers and Colonization (24 titles)</p><p> c) There will be a 1% participation fee increase for 508 &516 for the 2017-2018 school year</p><p>OTHER:</p><p>1. World Language Evaluation will be sent to the librarians</p><p>This evaluation asks for suggestions of titles, languages, how to better the service, etc. Carl asked the librarians to share this survey with the school’s ENL/ESL teachers.</p><p>Special thanks to Pat McCabe, Administrator, Eastern Suffolk BOCES Communications & Research, for reviewing both surveys.</p><p>3. NYLA-SSL Conference ~ May 3 – 5, 2018</p><p>4. Summer Project – Member mailing in September The mailing will be a physical packet sent to librarians. It will contain information on how to subscribe to the SLS listserv, what is in the VRC/DML, what languages you can get translated in the databases, etc.</p><p>Motion to adjourn – Robert Hines, seconded by Derek Ivie.
