All 2015-16 Beacon, Freedom, Gratitude and Promise Grant Final Report Forms are due by August 31. Remember, our Lodge cannot receive any 2016-17 CIP grants if these forms are not submitted. What to Say: Did you know that Grand Exalted Ruler Mike Zellen is a past recipient of the Emergency Educational Grant? Emergency Educational Grants offer college financial assistance of up to $4,000 each year to children of deceased or totally disabled Elks. Who do we know who could benefit from this scholarship? How can we connect with these students and let them know they have support from their Elks family? What to Say: The 2016 Summer Elks Scholar Service Trip took place in Chicago in early June. The scholars served in the name of the Elks at an elementary school, a V.A. food pantry, and at a standdown to support the needs of homeless veterans.
