Required Length: 1000 words OR 6 minutes maximum OR Multimedia Equivalent (negotiate with Ms Hunt) Audience: Teacher Due Date: Wed. Wk 2 Oct 22nd Draft Deadline: Friday October 17th </p><p>Task: Select two magazine advertisements to compare and contrast. You will find it useful to choose advertisements for a similar / same product with extremely different target audiences. Ensure that the magazine advertisements you pick are highly manipulative and effective. When comparing the two magazine advertisements you are exploring the relationship between audience, purpose, form, stylistic features, language, context, and the process of convincing consumers to buy products. </p><p>Set out your analysis as a professional report. This will involve:  A title page. (Clearly define the topic and the author. Some visual design is encouraged.)  A contents page. (Remember to then number the pages within the report!)  The report. (Use sub headings to define the aspect of the magazine advertisements you are discussing.)</p><p>Remember to take an integrated approach with your analysis. Eg if talking about target audience you are comparing the target audiences of both magazine advertisements. You do not completely analyse one advertisement and then do the other.
