<p>Mearns Academy Sports Day- 25th June 2015 Caird Park, Dundee</p><p>Dear Parent / Carer</p><p>Your son/daughter has made it successfully through qualification in school to reach the finals at our annual Sports Day. This year’s event will be taking place in Dundee at Caird Park on Thursday 25th June 2015. </p><p>Pupils will register at 9.00am in school and then buses will depart at 9.20am for Dundee. We will return back to school in time for pupils to get their normal buses home. Pupils should come to school dressed ready for Sports Day. We advise pupils to bring clothing suitable for all weather conditions and the following items:</p><p> Packed Lunch  Waterproof Jacket  Any medication they require  Sun Tan Lotion </p><p>We encourage all pupils to wear a coloured t-shirt in accordance to their house group. This will enable pupils to support competitors from their own house. House colours are as follows: </p><p>Conveth- Red Johnston- Yellow Thornton- Blue</p><p>Any parents/ carers who would like to come and watch the event are welcome to attend. Events will start at approximately 10.30am and finish around 2.30pm. If you require travel directions please contact the school.
