CLASSIFIED OBITUARY

CRAFT, Gary L. - Of Otisville, formerly of Davison, age 60, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. At Gary's request, there will be no formal funeral service. Cremation has already taken place. Gary was born November 1, 1944, in Flint, son of the late Luther and Mary (Snipes) Craft. He married Mary Savage August 7, 1971. He served in the US Air Force for 4 years and in the Reserves for 2 years. Gary was a dedicated worker for GM and Delphi for 40 years, retiring in 2002. Gary was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed involving himself in his sons' projects. Because of his work in 2004 at Crossroads and his willingness to go out of his way to help others, he made many friends. Since Gary's retirement, he happily took on a much larger task of being an on-call grandparent. He was a jack-of-all-trades and master of none. He is survived by his wife Mary; sons Jason (Christine) and Brandon (Tiffany); grandchildren Chase, Jarrett, Hailey, Peyton and Paige; brothers Robert (Nancy), Leroy (Ann) and William; nephews; and close friend Jim Phillips. His son Matthew preceded him in death.
