<p> SURVEILLANCE CHECK LIST ACCESSORY/ COMPONENT OVERHAUL SHOP</p><p>Name of operator: Scope of approval: Name & Designation of Inspecting Officer: Date of Inspection:</p><p>S/N ITEMS OF INSPECTION SAT/UNSAT REMARKS</p><p>1. Ensure that the previous inspection findings are properly rectified.</p><p>2. Check that the work under taken by the shop are as per approved capability list.</p><p>3. Check the condition of the shop in respect of general house keeping, cleanliness, arrangement of work benches, test rigs etc.</p><p>4. Check that the Component Maintenance/ Overhaul manuals, approved procedure sheets are available and are up-to-date.</p><p>5. Check that the spares/ consumable items used are procured from approved sources only. They are stored properly and batch number are traceable.</p><p>6. Check that there is proper segregation between incoming and out going components and all of these components are tagged with work card or serviceable tags as applicable.</p><p>7. Check availability of adequate number of approved personnel and skilled technician. Whether they are aware of all shop procedures, safety precautions.</p><p>8. Check the calibration records of the followings:</p><p> Test equipments;  Gauges and instruments fitted on the test rigs.</p><p>9. Check whether valid calibration card is placed with the test equipments, gauges, instruments etc.</p><p>DGCA STD.DOC/CL/25 1 MAY, 1999 10. Check that satisfactory procedures exists for modification control to review all ADs/SBs etc. of the components and procedure of ensuring incorporation of all applicable modifications. </p><p>11. Check randomly to ensure that ranges and accuracy of the test equipments, gauges, instruments etc. are as per the manufacturer’s recommendation.</p><p>12. Check component history cards, if maintained at the shop is up-to-date and all columns are filled up.</p><p>13. Check that the component history cards reflect the modification status.</p><p>14. Check component reliability report by Q.C. department is available in the shop.</p><p>15. Check availability of necessary special tools and test equipments as per Component Maintenance/ Overhaul manual.</p><p>16. Check for any life expired seal, gasket, adhesives lubricants etc.</p><p>DGCA STD.DOC/CL/25 2 MAY, 1999</p>
