<p> Journal Assignment #6: Organizational Behavior </p><p>The topic of this assignment is to think back on work-related experiences where you were 1) very satisfied, and 2) very dissatisfied. </p><p>A. Concrete Experience (1 Point) </p><p>1. Objectively describe each experience (who, what, when, where, how) </p><p>2. Subjectively describe your feelings, perceptions, and thoughts that occurred during (not after) each experience. </p><p>B. Reflective Observation (1 Point) </p><p>1. Look at the experiences from different, relevant points of view. What did you observe in the experiences and what meaning could these observations have? For example, how did other participants view the situations and what did it mean to them? </p><p>C. Abstract Conceptualization (6 Points) </p><p>1. For each experience, complete the following: </p><p>Describe how your level of satisfaction affected the following: your performance on the job; your desire to quit (turnover) and any behavior related to quitting (e.g., searching for a new job); your willingness to go to work (absence) and your actual attendance on the job; how much you engaged in organizational citizenship behaviors (e.g., altruism, conscientiousness, courtesy, sportsmanship, and civic virtue) on the job. </p><p>E. Writing Style (2 Points) </p><p>1. Was writing clear and concise? 2. Did you integrate and synthesize the different sections? </p>
