<p>Physical Resources Shutdown Notice</p><p>Date Initiated: October 27, 2017</p><p>Service: Testing the existing main electrical cables between the Science Complex and the Reynolds Building.</p><p>Building(s): 026 Reynolds Building (Project 504017) 140 Science Complex, 025 MacLachlan Building and 024 Massey Hall </p><p>Areas Affected: Power will be shut down to the Reynolds Building, J.D. MacLachlan Building and 024 Massey Hall during the testing.</p><p>Contacts: Emailed </p><p>Date and Time: Thursday November 2, 2017 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.</p><p>Reason: Testing the existing main nonessential electrical feeders to the Reynolds Building. </p><p>Notes: The electrical Contractor is responsible to place all computer servers in JD MacLachlan Building on essential power prior to the shutdown. Disconnect and lock-out the breaker feeding splitter in Science Building main electrical room. 2. Remove the cables from load side of disconnect switches. 3. Remove the cables from line side of disconnect switches at the Reynolds building electrical room. 4. Measure the resistance of each cable to ground with milliohm meter. Record results. 5. Reconnect the cables in one disconnect switch at both ends. (feeding the elevator and attic). 6. Remove lock and turn back the breaker feeding splitter in Science Building. 7. Turn on the power at the connected disconnect switch.</p>
