<p> Academy of Public The Assembly of Peoples of Administration under the Kazakhstan President of the Republic of Kazakhstan</p><p>Call for papers: INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan</p><p>“Public administration and public policy in the sphere of interethnic relations of the Republic of Kazakhstan: development of technologies for management and citizen’s participation in strengthening the social harmony”</p><p>Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Astana, Kazakhstan 20 November 2015</p><p>The purpose of the conference is to develop practical and scientifically justified recommendations for policy implementation on maintaining social harmony and strengthening national unity.</p><p>We are inviting Kazakhstani and foreign scientists and experts, practitioners, Social Science and Humanities teachers, representatives of state agencies dealing with interethnic and inter-confessional relations and ethnic policy implementation, representatives of scientific and expert groups and committees of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Kazakhstani and foreign research centers.</p><p>The focus of the conference: - the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan: results and prospects (Plenary discussion) - the main directions and priorities of the state ethnic policy of Kazakhstan for implementation of the Plan of the nation - 100 concrete steps "Modern State for all" (Plenary discussion) - strengthening the Kazakhstani identity and characteristics of self-identity in contemporary society (state, ethnic, religious) (session discussions) - the role and activities of the mass media, political parties, ethnic and cultural and other associations in strengthening the Kazakhstani identity and national unity (session discussions) - socio-demographic composition of the Kazakhstani society, formation and development of ethno-social groups, their current and future states (session discussions) - training specialists in the field of interethnic and inter-confessional relations for public service and public sector (session discussions) Formats of the conference: plenary, sessions and round table discussions, exchange of experience, meetings with Kazakhstani and foreign scientists, experts and specialists in the sphere of interethnic relations and ethnic policy</p><p>The results of the conference will be published in conference proceedings in a book</p><p>Venue: Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana, Abay av., 33 A, 2nd floor, "Round Room"</p><p>Registration The registration is online by 30 October 2015.
